Prison
Three times a week, a team of MERCY staff and volunteers take fruit, clean drinking water and sandwiches (when supplies are available) to people in local police lock-up centers.

MERCY offers emergency care as needed, help contacting family or embassies (if foreigners), and family support if Thai nationals.
MERCY has also been able to scrub out the cells and repaint, as well as put in new flooring in some centers, and as resources and volunteers are available, would like to help all the local centers in the same way.
Future plans are to visit and provide personal support for those who receive jail sentences, with community support when they are released.
